14 S. Portland Street
The 2016 DFP Design of the Year was awarded to the Art District Lofts. Prior to Sam Meyer’s purchase of the property the building sat vacant and had seen a significant amount of disrepair including extensive flood damage.
Developing the building into lofts instead of commercial space addressed a well established need for additional residential space in downtown. It is a beautiful renovation that will surely be used as an exemplary design for property renovation from commercial to residential spaces.
