Night Market Volunteers

Night Market Volunteer Opportunities

Let's Get This Party Started - Setup Volunteers

(3:00 p.m. -4:30 p.m.)

You are the welcome wagon for our hard-working vendors as they arrive at our Night Market! Join the DFP Staff at Main Street Plaza to help set up street barricades and other market equipment.

Responsibilities: Roll up your sleeves! We hit the ground running, moving barricades to close Main Street, setting up the Information Booth and Beer Tent, placing directional signs, setting up stage area, setting up games, and any other week-specific supplies. In Short, volunteers will assist with whatever is needed to be open to the public at 5 p.m.

Command Center - Information Booth

(5 p.m. - 8 p.m.)

You are the control center that visitors can be directed to in case they have questions about the Night Market.

Responsibilities: Remain in the Information Booth to answer questions, be prepared to sell Market Bucks to attendees all with a smile!

Brew Crew - Slinging Sodas & Suds

(5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.)

Service with a smile and a positive attitude! The Night Market will be selling cans of beer, soda, and water to visitors. Must be 18+.

Responsibilities: Assist with checking IDs and wrist banding those over 21. All wristbands will be free. Assist with stocking beer tent from the provided trailer, handle cash transactions, must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Break It Down - Tear Down Volunteers

(8:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.)

Flip the Setup Volunteer description inside out and get Main Street back to pre-market condition. Help the DFP Staff bring market supplies back and remove street barricades.

Responsibilities: Roll up your sleeves! Break down tents, load cars and carts, remove signage and return all items to the storage space on 3rd Street or DFP office. Then street barricade removal occurs as soon as all vendors have left the market space.
