DESCRIPTION:During the Summer Wine Walk\, Fond du Lac’s downtown businesses become “tasting rooms”\, allowing ticketholders the opportunity to explore downtown Fond du Lac while sampling various sweet and dry wines\, or mocktails and other NA beverages. \nStroll from business to business exploring what downtown has to offer and take advantage of exclusive deals\, specials\, and activities while you sip from your souvenir glass. \nSelect your 12 wine samples (2 ounces) from the numerous options available at different businesses throughout Downtown Fond du Lac. You’re sure to find something you enjoy. \n  \n✨NEW IN 2025!✨  This year’s Summer Wine Walk will have a Summer Music Festival theme! 🎶🎸🎤Amp up the fun by dressing as your favorite musical artist\, band or genre!\nParticipating businesses will be getting into the fun\, too\, by decorating their shops and hosting themed activities and specials! \n✨Also New This Year✨\nWe asked\, you answered\, and we listened! Gone are the days of being tied to just sweet or dry wine!\nTicketholders can now purchase one standard wine ticket to choose from a sweet or dry wine choice at each stop! One ticket to rule them all! \n\nThe Details:\n\nWe ID EVERYONE. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older with a valid photo ID. We cannot distribute wristbands\, lanyards\, or glasses to anyone without an ID. Be flattered. You all look 21 years old to us!\nTicket holders must check-in individually to receive wristbands\, lanyards and glasses. Check-in on behalf of other ticket holders is not permitted.\nEvent check in will open at 131 S. Main Street at 3:00pm the day of the event\, and will remain open until 6:00pm. Wine samples will be available no earlier than 4:00pm and no later than 8:00pm.\nUpon check-in\, ticket holders will receive a souvenir wine glass\, wristband\, lanyard with punch card\, and a map of serving locations.\nDuring the Wine Walk\, upon receiving a wine sample\, ticketholders should present their punch card to the server to have them punched. All ticket holders may receive a maximum of 12\, 2 oz. samples regardless of how many stops are on the map.\nWine glasses must be empty before leaving each business.\nCheck-in details will be sent prior to the event date\, to the email provided at time of purchase.\n\nTips To Make The Most of The Summer Wine Walk\n\nAvoid a long line by checking in as early as possible the day of the event.\nKeep your glass in hand throughout the event. Consider bringing a sharpie or other items to label/decorate your glass to avoid confusion during the walk.\nAfter checking in early\, plan your route in advance of the start of the Wine Walk to avoid getting separated from your group.\nWear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. The Wine Walk will be held rain or shine and ticket holders will be walking outdoors between locations.\nWhen making purchases during some of the great sales on the route\, ask businesses about the option to pick up your purchase after completing the Wine Walk.\nBe sure to eat a good meal before the Wine Walk to avoid consuming alcohol on an empty stomach. There are many wonderful restaurants right downtown available for dining before and after the event.\nBE SAFE – Cross the streets at crosswalks.\nManage your alcohol intake; we reserve the right to refuse to serve anyone who appears to be intoxicated.\nParking is free downtown after 5 p.m.\nPost photos to Instagram and Facebook using #FDLSummerWineWalk and/or #DowntownFDL\n\nDisclaimer: Tickets are transferable\, but not refundable. Transferring a ticket to another individual age 21 or over is the responsibility of the ticket holder.
