Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership Moving to Main Street
Fond du Lac, WI – Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership (DFP) announces plans to move its office to the Zimmerman Building at 131 S. Main Street. The new office will be a short quarter-mile away from the current location.

The Zimmerman Building location will provide greater visibility, more convenient access to the organization for local business owners, and easier administration of the farmers market on Main Street.

The DFP office will be located in the northwest corner on the ground level of the building. The space will be reconfigured to accommodate meeting rooms for committee work or consulting with business and property owners. The large windows running along Main and 2nd will provide easy viewing of upcoming event information for pedestrians and community visitors. During the farmers market season, which lasts approximately 25 weeks of the year, DFP staff who provide informational and credit/debit/EBT services will have easier access to equipment.

“The foot traffic at the DFP office has become more and more consistent as potential and current business owners seek us out to discuss opening new locations, improving their properties, and being part of the successful downtown. The added visibility of the new location can only help those numbers to increase,” says Amy Hansen, Executive Director of the DFP.

Alan Hathaway, President of the DFP Board of Directors, adds, “We’ve seen great improvements at the Zimmerman Building since Jim Loeber completed the apartment renovations on the upper levels a little more than a year ago. Being part of this emerging business center is a perfect fit for the organization.”

The move is anticipated for completion on February 1, 2018.

The Downtown Fond du Lac Partnership, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing people, activity, business and a thriving civic life back to the heart of Fond du Lac. The DFP serves 214 properties with 284 businesses, 76% of which are small, locally-owned and operated.
